Job summary

People, Technology & Processes, LLC operates network systems in a DoD environment. The Network Engineer will oversee daily operations for both unclassified and classified enclaves, handling routers, switches, load balancers, and other core devices to maintain high availability for thousands of end users.

Expect Tier III incident response and coordination with DISA-related groups. The role supports ECP execution, hardware/firmware updates, and network redesigns aligned with evolving DISA

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of enterprise or DoD network support experience.
• Experience with router/switch configuration and firewall updates.
• Knowledge of Cisco Catalyst/Nexus gear and IP subnetting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of unclassified and classified enclaves and core equipment.
• Respond to Tier III network incidents and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Support engineering change proposals including hardware and firmware updates.
• Assist with network upgrades, device refreshes, and topology changes.
• Apply configuration baselines, document deviations, and correct issues.
• Update Visio diagrams following changes and assist BRDs and risk analyses.
