Job summary

Soft Tech Consulting, Inc. is seeking an AI Mid Software Engineer to design, implement, and optimize AI-powered solutions based on modern agentic frameworks. You will work on multi-agent workflows, integrate AI with enterprise systems, and tune agent behavior for reliable real-world outcomes.

You will collaborate with AI specialists, software engineers, data scientists, solution architects, cybersecurity experts, and product owners to deliver production-ready AI systems for our clients.

Qualifications

• Top Secret Cleared.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience.
• Ability to iteratively tune, evaluate, and validate AI workflows.
• Experience designing and running structured tests for AI behavior.
• Proficiency in Python; familiarity with JavaScript or other languages beneficial.
• Comfortable with CI/CD and Git workflows.
• Experience with AI Agents & Workflow Integration (Intermediate).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize agentic AI systems using orchestration frameworks.
• Implement multi-step, tool-enabled AI agentic workflows with LLM reasoning and retrieval systems.
• Use foundation models on Amazon Bedrock for structured generation, extraction, summarization, planning, and decision support.
• Iteratively tune AI workflows through prompt engineering and tool-use optimization.
• Conduct structured testing and evaluation of AI behavior.
• Diagnose AI system issues and implement guardrails and workflow adjustments.
• Integrate AI components with databases and internal applications.
• Document model usage, experiments, and workflow designs.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity to ensure safe-use guidelines.
