Job summary

Soft Tech Consulting, Inc. in Washington, DC seeks an AI Senior Software Engineer to design, implement, and optimize AI-powered workflows scripted atop modern agentic frameworks.

You will build intelligent agentic pipelines using LangGraph, CrewAI, and AWS Bedrock, integrating with enterprise data and tools to deliver reliable, real‑world outcomes. You will collaborate with AI specialists, software engineers, data scientists, cybersecurity experts, and product owners to deliver production‑ready

Qualifications

• Top Secret Cleared is required.
• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• 7–10 years of related AI software experience.
• Experience designing and running structured AI tests.
• Proficiency in Python; familiarity with JS is a plus.
• Strong communication and self‑direction.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize agentic AI systems and workflows.
• Implement multi‑step, tool‑enabled AI agentic workflows.
• Leverage foundation models (e.g., Claude) on Bedrock to enable structured generation and extraction.
• Tune AI workflows via prompt engineering and tool‑use optimization.
• Run structured tests for AI behavior and model comparisons.
• Diagnose hallucinations or retrieval issues and apply guardrails.
• Integrate AI components with databases and internal applications.
• Document model usage and experiments for reproducibility.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and governance teams on safe use.
