Commercial Appliance Parts & Service, Inc. is seeking an experienced Service Technician for commercial kitchen equipment.

You’ll diagnose, repair, install, and maintain a wide range of foodservice machines, collaborating with restaurants, schools, healthcare facilities, and hotels to keep kitchens running safely and efficiently. Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with commercial kitchen gear, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• Previous experience repairing commercial kitchen or foodservice equipment
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of gas, electrical, refrigeration, or plumbing systems is a plus
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• A valid driver’s license and good driving record
• Ability to work independently and manage a service schedule
• Professional appearance and a positive attitude

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining a wide range of commercial foodservice equipment
• Serving restaurants, schools, healthcare facilities, hotels, and institutions
• Troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, gas, refrigeration, and plumbing-related equipment issues
• Repairing and maintaining commercial cooking equipment
• Servicing ovens, fryers, griddles, steamers, ranges, dishwashers, refrigeration equipment
• Performing preventative maintenance
• Completing service calls accurately and professionally
• Communicating with customers regarding repairs and recommendations
• Maintaining accurate service records
• Following safety procedures and manufacturer specifications
• Keeping service vehicle, tools, and equipment organized
