Job summary

Napleton's Volkswagen of Sanford, part of The Ed Napleton Automotive Group, seeks an Automotive Service Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles per dealer and factory standards. You will work with parts, advisors, and customers to ensure quality, efficiency, and loyalty through clear communication and reliable service.

Qualifications

• Automotive Service Technician experience.
• ASE certification desirable.
• Excellent customer service.
• Strong communication skills.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations.
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards to drive Customer loyalty.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication.
• Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform repair.
• Adequately explains technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers
• Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins and participate in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate
• Keeps store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur
• Maintains an organized work area

Education
