Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Rogers, AR seeks an Auto Body Technician to deliver high-quality repairs that restore vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, reassemble, and support the team to meet KPIs while upholding the brand promise of speed and excellence.

Responsibilities include planning repairs, using professional tools, realigning frames, replacing parts, welding, and painting to industry standards. Some tasks may require lifting and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of technical school or a 3-year apprenticeship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plans the repair work and prepares cost estimates for customers using various tools.
• Uses cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers to repair sections.
• Hammers out dents and uses fillers when needed to restore surfaces.
• Realigns chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Removes damaged sections and replaces with new or aftermarket parts; replaces glass as needed.
• Replaces or repairs interior parts; welds and attaches parts; preps and repaints vehicles.
• Completes work orders within labor time guidelines and inspects repairs.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
