Responsibilities

• Perform reverse engineering using standard FME workflows and tools (e.g., Ghidra).
• Evaluate, test, and integrate ML models and LLMs into engineering workflows.
• Use Git/GitLab and CI/CD pipelines to package and deploy software updates.
• Support networks at different classification levels.
• Develop systems architecture docs and integration plans for multi-classification environments.
• Provide technical recommendations on cross-domain solutions and security requirements.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity teams to ensure DoD/IC compliance.
• Support the Authority to Operate (ATO) for cross-domain solutions.

Apogee Engineering is seeking a Tools & Techniques Research Engineerwho provides research engineering support across software, hardware, and complex devices for Foreign Material Exploitation (FME), including reverse engineering and AI/ML integration.

Responsibilities

• Perform software, hardware, or complex device reverse engineering using standard FME workflows and tools (e.g., Ghidra).
• Evaluate, test, and integrate ML models and LLMs into engineering workflows (code similarity, binary triage, image artifact reduction).
• Use Git/GitLab and CI/CD pipelines to package and deploy software updates.
• Support networks maintained at different classification levels
• Develop systems architecture documentation and integration plans for multi-classification environments
• Provide technical recommendations on cross-domain solution implementation and security requirements
• Coordinate with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with DoD and IC standards
• Support the Authority to Operate (ATO) process for cross-domain solutions
