Responsibilities

• Conduct technology scouting and market research in AI/ML, microelectronics, and digital forensics.
• Translate challenges into Mission Model Canvases (MMCs) and Opportunity Documents.
• Facilitate industry engagements, assess technical proposals, and evaluate partner alignment with mission priorities.
• Provide analytical and advisory support to prioritize initiatives and feed the innovation pipeline.
• Support refinement of problems and creation of MMCs, MMCs, and problem rubrics; validate needs and impact metrics.
• Conduct market research in academic and commercial sectors to identify potential solution providers.
• Conduct Partner Alignment Assessments to review technical alignment and facilitate validation.
• Engage with vendors on project proposals ensuring alignment with user needs; maintain project artifacts.
• Act as primary point of contact and Virtual Team Session Lead for engagements and discovery calls.

Overview

Apogee has an exciting opportunity for a Tools & Techniques Architecture Exploration Lead / Market Researcher.This position will lead technology scouting and market research to identify emerging capabilities and translate mission challenges into structured problem statements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technology scouting and market research in AI/ML, microelectronics, and digital forensics.


• Perform discovery interviews and translate challenges into Mission Model Canvases and Opportunity Documents.


• Facilitate industry engagements, assess technical proposals, and evaluate partner alignment with mission priorities.


• Provide analytical and advisory support to assist the Government in prioritizing T2 initiatives and sourcing an adequate quantity of Foreign Materiel Exploitation (FME) problems to feed the innovation pipeline


• Support problem refinement through discovery interviews, assist in the creation of Mission Model Canvases (MMCs), Opportunity Documents, and problem rubrics, and validate problem needs, requirements, and impact metrics


• Conduct market research in academic and commercial sectors to identify potential solution providers


• Conduct Partner Alignment Assessments to review technical alignment and assist the Government in facilitating Partner Validation, providing recommendations to allocate resources effectively


• Assist the Government with engagement with vendors on project proposals ensuring alignment with user needs, and maintain project management artifacts including quad charts, biweekly meetings, project logs


• Act as the primary point of contact and Virtual Team Session Lead for scheduling and facilitating industry engagements, discovery calls, and vendor exploration sessions
