Job summary

Apogee Engineering seeks a Tools & Techniques Research Engineer to provide research engineering support across software, hardware, and complex devices for FME, including reverse engineering and AI/ML integration.

The role involves evaluating ML models, integrating LLMs into workflows, and deploying updates via Git/GitLab and CI/CD pipelines. On-site at Wright Patterson AFB, Dayton, OH with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and TS/SCI clearance required.
• 8+ years experience with a bachelor's in science or engineering.
• Strong engineering and software development background.
• Experience in FME or related exploitation domains.

Responsibilities

• Perform reverse engineering of software, hardware, or devices.
• Evaluate, test, and integrate ML models into workflows.
• Use Git/GitLab and CI/CD to package and deploy updates.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity teams to ensure DoD standards.
• Support cross-domain integration and ATO processes.
