Job summary

Mind Robotics is building Physical AI for real-world deployment and is hiring a Tools and PLM Engineer to own CAD and engineering tools across hardware teams. You will manage 3DEXPERIENCE, toolchains, data flow, and BOM handoffs to manufacturing and supply chain.

You will define standards, upgrade paths, and training to keep teams aligned while evaluating new tools and APIs. This role demands hands-on CAD leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience owning PLM and engineering tools for a hardware company.
• Advanced hands-on expertise with CAD tools such as 3DEXPERIENCE.
• Deep knowledge of release, change and BOM management in CAD tools.
• Experience designing how data reaches manufacturing and supply chain.
• Scripting in EKL, VBA, Python, C#, or similar, with APIs.
• Ability to choose valuable, practical tooling over hype.
• Clear communication with engineers and cross-functional leads.

Responsibilities

• Be the expert on CAD tools and serve as the go-to CAD engineer.
• Own the engineering systems domain end to end and manage platform upgrades.
• Design data flow from design to build, with BOMs and changes to manufacturing.
• Define part numbering, release, change management, and EBOM-to-MBOM handoffs.
• Set standards and provide training for CAD, data, and release processes.
• Evaluate new tools and vendors, and drive rollout across teams.
• Automate repetitive tasks with scripts and API integrations.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain and quality teams.
