Job summary

Mind Robotics is hiring a Tools and PLM Engineer to own the CAD and engineering tools our hardware teams design with. Our core platform is Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE, and you will be its resident expert while keeping our wider toolchain running and up to date.

You will build the processes that carry engineering data to manufacturing, supply chain and the rest of the company, and keep us ahead of new technology.

Qualifications

• Own PLM and engineering tools for hardware, with data and processes used by other teams.
• Hands-on expertise across CAD tools such as 3DEXPERIENCE; be the go-to CAD expert.
• Deep knowledge of release, change and BOM management in CAD tools like 3DEXPERIENCE.
• Experience shaping data flows from design to manufacturing and supply chain.
• Scripting in EKL, VBA, Python, C# or similar; build on APIs.
• The ability to choose valuable problems to solve and to set priorities.
• Strong communication with engineers and leads in manufacturing and quality.

Responsibilities

• Be the expert on all CAD tools, including 3DEXPERIENCE, for engineering teams.
• Own the engineering systems domain end to end: CAD, ECAD, simulation, CAM toolchain.
• Design processes that move released parts, BOMs, drawings to manufacturing and supply chain.
• Define how engineering data is managed, including EBOM-to-MBOM handoff.
• Set roadmaps, tradeoffs, and communicate what will not be addressed.
• Evaluate new tools and lead rollout across teams.
• Set data and release standards and build training to enforce them.
• Automate repetitive CAD/PLM work with scripts and API integrations.
