Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, MI seeks a Tool and Template Maker to operate manual and CNC machines, read blueprints and schematics, and fabricate fixtures. Candidates must complete a bona fide apprenticeship or have substantial prior experience and demonstrate strong safety practices.

Position offers a top hourly base rate with incremental increases after three months, plus a best-in-class benefits package including healthcare, life and disability coverages, and retirement plans.

• Fabricate and repair fixtures and tooling.
• Set up and operate CNC Lathes and Milling machines.
• Read blueprints and schematics.
• Use precision measuring tools to verify part quality.

Rate of Pay and Benefits:

Tool and Template Makersare paid a top hourly base rate of $45.115, plus applicable shift, overtime, and holiday premiums. The starting rate for this position is$44.915with pay increases to the top rate upon completion of three consecutive months of employment.

Must be able to effectively maneuver about vehicles, equipment, assembly lines or stations, and about facility.

Candidates must have completed a bona fide apprenticeship, or have 8 years of previous experience, or have a combination of previous work experience and training equivalent to a bona fide apprenticeship program in the trade.

Successful completion of a job interview, pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check are required. Drug panel does not include THC.
