Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking skilled machinists/repair technicians to maintain and repair equipment across SE Michigan. The role requires apprenticeship or equivalent experience and expertise in machine mechanics, pneumatics and hydraulics.

Candidates should be able to read blueprints, operate and repair presses, CNC machines and automated equipment, and work safely on the shop floor. Training and benefits are provided, with opportunities for overtime and advancement.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship completed, or 8 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of machine mechanics, pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Blueprint reading and machine repair.
• Experience with presses, CNC machines, robots and automated equipment.
• Ability to read electrical/hydraulic schematics and work safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance on machines and assembly lines.
• Read blueprints and install or modify components as needed.
• Work safely in a team environment and follow instructions.
