Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a Toolmaker to support a 24-hour manufacturing operation in Hastings, MN. On the second shift, you will fabricate, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and production equipment.

This role mostly operates on the second shift and requires strong manual machining skills, blueprint reading, and experience with precision tolerances. Entry-level to experienced professionals will be considered.

Qualifications

• Toolmaker experience and die/tooling background.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers).
• Proficiency with holding tight tolerances on machined parts.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, surface grinders, drill presses.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, repair, maintain and troubleshoot tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and production equipment.
• Operate manual mills and lathes to spec.
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure correct dimensions and tolerances.
• Maintain tight tolerances using calipers, micrometers and depth micrometers.
• Demonstrate reliable attendance and ability to work second shift.
