Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; bona fide apprenticeship with four years' experience or eight years' practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Study blueprints to determine machining requirements.
• Lay out and perform machining operations and bench work to construct, alter and repair tools, dies, jigs, molds, fixtures, mechanisms, etc.
• Set-up new or modify dies and tools in production machines for trial runs.
• Responsible for quality workmanship and dimensional accuracy of assigned projects; maintain a clean, orderly work place.
• Operate CNC equipment and surface grinder, test assembled mechanisms.
