Job summary

Precision Resource in Huntington Beach, CA is seeking a Toolmaker for 2nd shift after training on 1st shift. You will manufacture and repair tooling, read engineering drawings, perform major rebuilds, and support precision grinding.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of 4 years of apprenticeship in Tool & Die making.
• Minimum 5 years of experience building stamping dies.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in form grinding using various types of grinding equipment.
• Minimum 5 years of experience using manual toolroom equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture and repair tooling to engineering prints.
• Perform major rebuilds of existing production tooling.
• Make job-specific fixtures and gauges for production.
• Engage in precision machining and grinding tasks.
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications with accuracy.
