Job summary

Mauston Tool Corporation is seeking an experienced Toolmaker to join our growing team in the plastic injection mold building industry. This hands-on role focuses on precision tooling, mold builds, repairs, and engineering changes to deliver high-quality tooling.

You will work with CNC equipment, read blueprints, and collaborate with engineers and moldmakers to keep projects moving forward while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Toolmaker, Moldmaker, Machinist, or similar manufacturing position preferred.
• Experience with plastic injection molds strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of machining, tooling, and manufacturing processes.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.
• Ability to work independently while also being part of a team.

Mauston Tool is growing! As we continue expanding our capabilities and serving a larger market in the plastic injection mold building industry, we are looking for an experienced Toolmaker to join our dedicated and progressive team.

In this hands-on role, you’ll work with precision equipment and tooling to build, repair, modify, and maintain plastic injection molds. From new mold builds to repairs and engineering changes, you’ll play an important role in producing high-quality tooling for a variety of industries.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build, assemble, repair, and modify plastic injection molds

• Perform precision machining and fitting of mold components

• Troubleshoot tooling issues and make necessary repairs

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications

• Work with CNC equipment and other precision manufacturing tools
