This position is remote and open to candidates located anywhere in the U.S.

What You’ll Do

The Designer will have intermediate knowledge of generating AutoCAD and CADworx for installation details, panel layouts, and equipment/instrument wiring schematics for pipeline and facility projects. Responsibilities include developing CAD designs from general instructions to detailed finished products, coordinating with Drafters to prepare project deliverables, and understanding file structures, specifications, and industry standards related to assigned projects.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

1. Gather field notes, survey data, design information, vendor information, and engineering schematics.
2. Set up sheets, title blocks, notes, and details as part of a drawing package.
3. Possess basic knowledge of site layouts for meter, regulation, valve, and compression equipment.
4. Add annotations and dimensions to plot plans, details, and schematics.
5. Utilize 3D modeling software to generate designs for facility projects.
6. Create 2D drawings based on 3D model references.
