Job summary

Amcor Flexibles, LLC in Kentucky is recruiting a Tool Room Supervisor to lead training and oversee maintenance and policies within the Tool Room. The role requires strong leadership, safety discipline, and hands-on management of tooling operations.

You will collaborate with tooling, maintenance, and scheduling teams, ensure equipment care, and assist HR and other facilities as needed. A Journeyman Tool Maker certification is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Journeyman Tool Maker certification required.
• Proven ability to lead and direct employees.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and operate forklift safely.
• Ability to climb, work at heights and read vision tests.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development and training of new employees and guide others in work habits.
• Collaborate with tooling manager and Maintenance to develop training programs.
• Ensure proper care of company property and equipment.
• Coordinate with Scheduling to align project awareness and coordination.
• Work with other department supervisors to prioritize work in Amcor's best interest.
• Assist HR with screening and interviewing Tool Room candidates.
• Assist Tooling and Engineering at other Amcor facilities as needed.
• Enforce company policies, safety rules and good practices.
• Develop Tool Room policies to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Maintain records on maintenance performed on molds and dies.
