Job summary

Automation Personnel Services, Inc. in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Tooling Technician to build, install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot tooling, dies, molds, fixtures, and production equipment in a foam manufacturing setting. Positions are full time and temporary to hire.

Shifts include 1st and 2nd with corresponding pay; the role requires blueprints reading, fabrication experience, and the ability to complete work orders and QA forms. Benefits and quarterly bonus accompany employment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in tool repairs and modifications.
• Read blueprints and use tape measure to 1/16 inch.
• Able to plan and complete jobs with required tooling and plumbing on molds.

Responsibilities

• Construct aluminium tooling and molds from rough cast to production-ready.
• Complete work orders in ITS2.
• Perform tool modifications and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot tool/mold defects and plan layouts for jigs and fixtures.
