Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a foam manufacturing facility in Chattanooga, TN. The role involves maintaining and servicing equipment and mechanical elements of production.

It is a full-time, temporary-to-hire position with several shifts available. Pay rates start at $27.02/hr with up to $32.00/hr based on experience; afternoon/night shifts include a $0.75 differential.

Qualifications

Minimum HS diploma or equivalent and 2-5 years manufacturing maintenance experience.
Read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
Mathematical ability: compute rate, ratio, percent; interpret bar graphs.
Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, boilers, robotics and PLC programming.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software.

Responsibilities

Inspect machinery and equipment for defects.
Perform PM schedule and maintain up-to-date information of equipment.
Operate and repair hydraulic presses, robots, assembly machines, boilers, compressors, plant support machinery, water softeners.
Assist in identifying problems and equipment repair needs.
Troubleshoot repairs and perform preventative maintenance.
Transport material and components with hand transport or forklift.
Use Electric Meter for troubleshooting; welding, pneumatics, hydraulics, soldering and brazing.
