Job summary

Magna Exteriors is seeking a skilled Mold Maker to join our extrusion/molding operations in Georgia. You will work under Decostar policies to ensure safe, efficient production of molds and tooling components.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting tooling failures, coordinating with the CMMS team, and executing mold repairs within deadlines. A technical associate degree plus 3+ years in molding environments is required.

Qualifications

• Three years practical experience as a journeyman (apprentice mold maker).
• Three years production environment experience in injection molding or related field.
• Must have excellent welding skills and experience with machine tool equipment.

Responsibilities

• Direct and follow safety policies to ensure a safe workplace.
• Assist molding department technicians by troubleshooting tooling related failures.
• Communicate with CMMS Coordinator to maintain mold maintenance documentation.
• Execute modifications or repairs of molds within scheduled time frames.
• Organize mold modifications and provide information for production scheduling.
