Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking a Tooling Technician – Injection Molding in Longmont, CO. Direct Hire role with a pay rate of $25-$33/hour DOE. Work schedule Mon–Thu 6:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m., Fri 6:30 a.m.–10:30 a.m.

This position involves disassembling, cleaning, inspecting, and reassembling injection molding tooling and molds, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting production. You will operate an overhead crane, load tooling for transport, maintain records, and contribute ideas to improve

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience with injection molding tooling, molds, or similar equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with disassembly, cleaning, inspection and reassembly of tooling.
• Experience safely operating an overhead crane.
• Comfortable working with grease, oil, and industrial equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and communicate with production and engineering teams.
• Willingness to complete a drug and background screening.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, clean, inspect, and reassemble injection molding molds and tooling.
• Perform preventive maintenance and approved tooling repairs.
• Change tooling cavities and update date stamps to support production.
• Safely move molds and tooling using an overhead crane.
• Load and unload tooling for transportation.
• Maintain accurate Tool Check In/Out and maintenance records.
• Inspect tooling for wear and identify maintenance or repair needs.
• Keep the tool room clean, organized, and operating safely.
• Participate in quality audits and communicate tooling, safety, or quality concerns.
• Contribute ideas that improve efficiency, quality, safety, and customer service.
