Job summary

BWX Technologies, Inc. in Lynchburg, VA is seeking a Tooling Support Coordinator to manage tooling materials and SAP-based processes. You will procure, track, and check-in materials for tooling operations and production areas.

You will also handle tooling inventories, audits, and data requests, coordinate material receipt with routing docs, and assist with contract closeout and MSDS/safety compliance efforts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with clerical/records/stores
• Proficiency in data entry and maintaining accurate files/reports
• U.S. citizen and ability to obtain/maintain DOE clearance

Responsibilities

• Procure, track, and check-in material using SAP for tooling operations and production areas
• Support Market Basket Bids and audit data requests
• Inventories, audits and maintains SAP quantities for consumables (coolant, grinding wheels, etc.)
• Coordinate receipt of tooling materials with routing documents
• Assist in contract closeout of tooling
• Perform semi-monthly shop-area audits for MSDS labeling and cross-contamination controls
• Coordinate load testing of lifting devices used in the shop
• Maintain inventories of contract tooling and documentation
• Assist with organization/maintenance of fixture storage
• Assist with Solumina PPOs for tooling
• Administer tooling database updates
• Assist with annual plant-wide Special Tooling Audit
• Assist with Tooling Drawing Plan list
