Job summary

Westfall Technik, LLC in Asheboro, NC is seeking a Tooling Supervisor to lead tooling operations for our plastics manufacturing facility.

You will oversee design, maintenance, and lifecycle management of tooling, dies, molds, jigs, and fixtures; collaborate across Engineering, Production, Quality, and Maintenance; require 8+ years tooling experience with 3+ in leadership and a mechanical engineering degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field (preferred); equivalent experience accepted.
• 8+ years in tooling, mold making, or die maintenance with 3+ years in leadership.
• Strong knowledge of tooling design, maintenance, and manufacturing processes (e.g., CNC, EDM, injection molding).
• Proficient in CAD software and tooling documentation systems.
• Experience with root cause analysis, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee tooling operations, ensure production requirements, quality, cost targets and on-time delivery.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Maintenance.
