Job summary

Georgia-Pacific in Janesville, WI is hiring a Set-up Team Supervisor to lead a team of set-up technicians across three shifts, including weekend duty (about 13 employees). You will coach and mentor technicians, drive safe work practices, and ensure repeatable, accurate setup changes with proper signoffs.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will identify machine gaps, relay issues to leadership, and foster knowledge sharing to improve reliability and part quality on the thermoforming

Qualifications

• Experience in a maintenance role within manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Leadership experience in manufacturing/industrial settings.
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and coach set-up team members across shifts.
• Foster a safe work environment and enforce best practices.
• Install Form and Trim tooling for thermoforming processes.
• Ensure machine set-up produces quality parts within tolerance.
• Completes inspection of forming machines to ensure safe operation.
• Troubleshoot thermoforming process issues.
• Record and document setup information for future use.
