Job summary

Kids for the Future in Hoyt Lakes, MN is seeking a Manufacturing & Tool Specialist to ensure all tools and molds are prepped for production, perform routine inspections, and coordinate repairs or outside service as needed. You will work with process engineering on continuous improvement and support efficient tool changeovers on the shop floor.

The role includes training and mentoring operators and finishers, maintaining tool readiness, and ensuring safety and quality during molding and secondary

Qualifications

• Experienced with rotational molding and assembly/secondary processes and equipment.
• Experienced in the production part processes and set ups.
• Familiar with Blueprint reading.
• Good organizational skills, self-motivated, flexible, and able to prioritize.

Responsibilities

• Ensure tools/molds are pulled, prepped and in good condition ready for production
• Set up of tools on the machine (at machine, mold released, breather tube, books, inserts)
• Assure efficient tool changeovers
• Tool Inspection when it comes off the machine
• Work with Engineering and maintenance, when necessary, in repairing tools/molds
• Perform daily tool/mold inspections to assure they are in good/working condition
