Job summary

Erdrich USA is seeking a Tool Mechanic to ensure uninterrupted production by maintaining and repairing tools, supporting setups, and enforcing quality and safety standards.

The role focuses on organizing tools, managing spare parts, and training support staff while delivering tools on time to meet production demands. Strong hands-on experience with measurement equipment and reading diagrams is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in tool maintenance or metal forming (deep drawing).
• Good PC knowledge and MS Office.
• Knowledge of measurement technology and reading diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain tools and support production during errors.
• Repair tools according to standards and descriptions (tool maintenance plan).
• Support production with tool adjustments and setups.
• Organize useful tools, production facilities, material and other appliances.
• Train support personnel in tool handling and maintenance.
• Release production tools according to test plans of quality assurance.
• Ensure 5s and cleanliness in the work area.
• Monitor spare parts stock and report problems to management.
