Job summary

Vishay Dale Electronics in Columbus, NE is seeking a machinist to operate and tend tool room equipment, producing tooling and consumable parts from various metals. You will read blueprints, interpret specifications, and ensure products meet tight tolerances.

You will work with designers and project engineers, perform setup adjustments, and occasionally run CNC equipment to support production. A technical degree or high-school diploma with machinist experience is required.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and perform arithmetic calculations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and bills of materials.

Responsibilities

• Operate and tend machine tool equipment to produce tooling and parts.
• Build tooling and consumable parts within specified tolerances.
• Occasionally run production on CNC equipment and related machines.
• Document finished products and ensure timely delivery with documentation.
• Coordinate with Designer or Project Engineer as required.
• Adjust or repair equipment as necessary.
