Job summary

Process Technology in Mentor, OH is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our fabrication team. You will set up CNC equipment, read blueprints, and edit programs to ensure defect-free parts. Precision measurement with calipers and micrometers is essential, along with strong troubleshooting abilities and a safety-focused mindset.

Qualifications

CNC machine setup including tooling and work holding.
Blueprint reading and interpretation.
Tooling offsets and some editing of programs.
Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, depth micrometers and other precision tools.
Troubleshoot machine issues and maintain tooling integrity.
G-code and M-code fundamentals for program editing.
Read and troubleshoot existing CNC programs.
Haas mill and Okuma mill-turn experience is a plus.
Mastercam experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Set up the CNC machine to produce components (tooling and work holding).
Edit programs as necessary to match setup and tooling selection.
Read and understand blueprints and use precision measuring tools.
Use calipers, micrometers, depth micrometers, and height stands to verify parts.
Maintain safety and drive quality in production.
