Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years in designing plastic injection tooling.
• Strong CAD skills and experience with multiple CAD packages.
• Ability to perform DFM analyses and communicate findings.

Responsibilities

• Sustain production tooling, driving tooling repairs and improvements.
• Aids in developing quotes for new tooling, revisions, and repairs.
• Responsible for storing CAD files, customer prints, and related documents.
• Drive new tooling through the entire development phase.
• Perform Design & DFM activities and engage with customers to work through these issues.
• Modify CAD files and communicate DFM issues using SharePoint/Meetings/PowerPoint.
• Determine gate locations, ejector pin locations, and other tooling details.
