Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3-8+ years of mechanical engineering experience in manufacturing/production.
• Proven ownership of mechanical design from concept to production release.
• Experience designing production-grade tooling (jigs, fixtures, molds, assembly aids, test fixtures).
• Proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks, NX, CATIA) and FEA.
• Knowledge of DFM/DFA applied to product and tooling.
• Experience with machining, welding, casting, additive manufacturing, or composites in tooling.
• GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
• U.S. Person status required.

Responsabilités

• Lead end-to-end lifecycle of tooling for SRM production from concept through release.
• Design and validate tooling: jigs, fixtures, molds, assembly aids, test fixtures.
• Apply CAD, FEA, and DFM/DFA to ensure robust, manufacturable tooling.
• Prototype, validate, and iterate tooling designs for production readiness.
• Develop documentation, work instructions, and QA plans for owned tooling.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and vendors to meet tooling requirements.
• Lead optimization to improve tooling lifecycle and lifespan.
• Provide technical guidance across the tooling domain.
