Saint Cyr Partners in Palmdale, CA, is seeking a Tooling Engineer for a 12-month, on-site contract. Pay rate is $45-55/hr W2, and US citizenship is required.

You will coordinate design and fabrication requirements for tools, develop test plans, and drive process improvements. The role requires 3+ years of Catia design, GD&T proficiency, and strong communication to manage detailed drawings.

Competenze

• 3+ years of Catia design experience.
• Familiarity with Detailed Drawing Requirements, ANSI, ISO, etc.
• Knowledge of designing castings, stampings and turned components
• GD&T knowledge and application to drawings
• Effective writing and communication for technical details

Mansioni

• Coordinate design and fabrication requirements for tools and fixtures with customers and internal teams.
• Coordinate/develop and execute test plans.
• Develop and evaluate process improvements.
• Assist Product Development with new designs for manufacturability and validation of processes.
• Develop manufacturing processes, plans, and procedures for tool fabrication and shop planning documentation.
• Manage all phases of a project: design, document, fabricate, assemble, and validate.
