Job summary

Nemak in Wisconsin seeks a Tooling Engineer responsible for development, design, build and maintenance schedules for HPDC tooling, including CAD, simulation analysis, and troubleshooting. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure dies are efficient and meet production targets, while managing budgets, timelines, PPAP and manufacturing acceptance activities.

The role requires 3–5 years’ experience, CAD proficiency, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ relevant experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Proficient in CAD.
• Experience with flow simulation software is desirable but not required.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze tooling downtime and dimensional data to design solutions for improved uptime and repeatability.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to solve complex problems and design solutions to improve filling, thermal balance, venting, cost and die life.
• Create, modify and maintain revision control of tool CAD, prints and spare parts.
• Manage quoting, procuring, costs, tool build, cavity replacement and other die components; lead design review activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
