Job summary

100Hires, Inc. in Avon, OH seeks a Tool & Die Supervisor to lead the Tool Room, ensuring safety, quality, productivity and on-time delivery to internal and external customers.

You will direct Tool Room supervisors, drive maintenance schedules and spare parts, mentor staff, and coordinate with vendors to minimize downtime and maximize throughput. The role requires a BS in Manufacturing/Engineering, 8+ years of experience as a maintenance supervisor or Journeyman Tool & Die Maker, plus strong lean

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Science in Manufacturing, Engineering or Industrial Technology preferred.
• Master degree preferred.
• Minimum of eight (8) years’ experience as a maintenance supervisor and/or Journeyman Tool & Die Maker preferred.
• Knowledge of manufacturing, stamping, and/or assembly processes as required for the position.

Responsibilities

• Direct report for the Tool Room supervisors.
• Lead safety, quality, production and delivery objectives.
• Develop and drive department strategy goals and monitor key metrics.
• Drive preventive maintenance schedules and spare part levels.
• Ensure accountability and discipline; maintain safe work practices.
• Mentor and coach team; enforce problem solving and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with outside die vendors for complex work.
• Support cost-reduction initiatives and plant business plan goals.
