Job summary

Greene Tweed Company is seeking an experienced Tooling Designer to drive development of production tooling for elastomer and plastic molding applications. You will create detailed CAD models and drawings, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with internal and external tool shops to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires 3–5 years of tooling design experience, a relevant engineering degree, and strong proficiency in SolidWorks and PLM.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years tool and die design experience, with compression or injection molding preferred.
• BS in Mechanical Engineering/Plastic Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical design with 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred) and PLM experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead tooling projects and ensure alignment with deliverables.
• Create detailed CAD models and drawings for tools and fixtures.
• Design complex tooling for elastomer compression and plastic injection molding.
• Collaborate with tool shops and review designs for reliability.
