Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Layton, UT seeks a Manager Tool Engineering 2 as a Control Account Manager to lead a diverse tooling organization. You will coordinate with IPTs to meet cost, schedule, and technical objectives while presenting data to leadership and customers.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in tooling/production environments or a master’s with 3+ years, plus at least 2 years of leadership. Active Secret clearance or higher is required, with SAP possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree AND 5 years of related engineering experience in tooling, manufacturing/operations, assembly lines, and/or implementing technology into a production environment; OR Master’s degree AND 3 years of related experience.
• Must have 2 years of leadership or management experience.
• Active U.S. Government Secret or higher clearance (or ability to obtain SAP clearance).
• Must have supplier management experience and cost management experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with program and operations leadership across IPT to meet cost, schedule, and technical objectives.
• Develop and deliver presentations to customers, senior leaders, and stakeholders on tooling cost and schedule performance.
• Direct supervision/management of staff and lead a high-performing team.
• Estimate future proposals affecting tooling SOW; create Basis of Estimates (BOE).
• Track budgets and performance in accordance with EVM standards; identify risks and mitigate them.
