Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED with 4 years of manufacturing/aerospace/design/tooling experience.
• Prior leadership experience in a managerial, lead, or supervisory capacity.
• Ability to obtain and maintain the final adjudicated U.S. Government Secret Clearance and any program access(es) required for the position.
• The ability to work any shift.

Responsibilities

• Familiar with current concepts, practices, and procedures utilized in tooling; strong interest in new technological applications.
• Ensures Tooling support of build/maintenance for production transition and sustained efforts.
• Establishes, maintains, and improves processes/procedures to support site program efforts and promotes consistent tool sets & processes across the organization.
• Monitors and manages Risk items to ensure mitigating actions are effective and timely and promotes Lean, Knowledge Management, and other process improvement initiatives.
• Management duties include personnel performance evaluation, merit planning, employee development.
• Supervises employees involved in Production Metrology, Tooling, fabrication of tools, and jig/fix/ttemplate/model building.
• Thrives in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations and cross-functional collaboration across all levels.
