Job summary

Ford Motor Company in Kansas City, MO seeks a skilled Tool and Template Maker to operate manual lathes, mills, and CNC equipment. The role requires completing a bona fide apprenticeship or having 8 years of prior related experience, or an equivalent combination of training and work experience.

You will fabricate and repair fixtures and tooling, and read blueprints for precise assembly. Ideal candidates will have experience with CNC lathes and milling, and a solid ability to interpret schematics

Qualifications

• Must have completed a bona fide apprenticeship or 8 years of prior experience, or a combination of work and training equivalent to an apprenticeship.
• Experience fabricating and repairing fixtures and tooling; setting up and operating CNC lathes and milling machines.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics; operate manual machines and understand precision measuring tools.
