Job summary

You must read blueprints, apply Lean principles, and collaborate with a maintenance team to troubleshoot and repair machinery. Journeyman card or equivalent experience is required, along with strong math skills.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints and interpret prints to guide tooling projects.
• 8 years of toolmaking experience or documented apprenticeship.
• UAW Journeyman card or equivalent experience required.

Responsibilities

• Construct, alter and repair tools, dies, jigs, fixtures and gauges.
• Set up, program, and operate CNC mills and lathes with live tooling.
• Troubleshoot tooling issues and repair parts as needed.
• Read prints, document work, and maintain clean, safe shop area.
