Freudenberg is seeking a tooling-focused professional to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and build production tooling, jigs, fixtures, and equipment in our Wisconsin manufacturing site. You will create refined tooling designs using CAD, diagnose issues, and implement hands-on solutions to minimize downtime and waste.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams on new tooling development, and you will document performance and setup parameters while training operators.

Formación

• Read blueprints, drawings or CAD designs to guide tooling work.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with attention to detail and problem solving.
• Hands-on tooling, machining, or mechanical systems experience.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented with clear communication and craftsmanship pride.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and build production tooling, jigs, fixtures, and specialized equipment.
• Create/refine tooling designs using sketches and CAD to improve performance.
• Diagnose tooling issues and implement hands-on solutions to minimize downtime and scrap.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Quality on tooling development and improvements.
• Track and document tooling performance, maintenance history, and setup parameters.
• Train and support operators on proper tooling setup and use.
• Support continuous improvement and lean initiatives including GROWTTH and quality programs.
