Qualifications

Job description

Tool Room - Toolmaker

Journeyman Tool & Die Maker with 4 + years' experience in tool building. Must have the proven ability to troubleshoot complex progressive dies and be an authority in making tooling components efficiently. Candidates must also be capable of assembling the most complex progressive dies and have leadership skills to lead a group through new complex tool builds. The ability to program and operate CNC Milling machines a plus.

Requirements

• Certified Journeyman Tool & Die and at least 6 years of experience as a Tool & Die Maker.


• Experience running lathes, mills and grinders. CNC/ Programming a Plus


• Able to read micrometer, gauges, comparator, and blueprints.


• Proven mechanical ability.


• Assume responsibility for quality workmanship and dimensional accuracy of assigned work.


• Good verbal & written communication skills.


• Organized, able to prioritize, plan accomplishment of multiple tasks.


• Self-motivated and ability to problem solve to project completion


• Team player with experience working successfully in a team environment.


• Basic computer skills using Windows, MasterCam/Solidworks a Plus


• Quality and safety focused.


• Able to lift moderate loads regularly (under 40 lbs.)

The opening is for 1st shift.

1st shift Hours are from 7 AM. - 4:30 PM. Monday - Friday
