Job summary

Precise Aerospace Manufacturing Inc. seeks a Tool Room Maintenance Technician to maintain, clean, and inspect tooling, extrusion dies, and related equipment. You will assist design engineers, help with line setup/teardown, and provide maintenance support.

Responsibilities include cleaning dies, inspecting for wear, maintaining the Tool Room, testing heaters/thermocouples, and managing spare parts. Safety, quality, and cross-functional teamwork are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year of factory/manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read and follow instructions, technical documents, and safety guidelines.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Polish and clean extrusion dies, calibrators, and related equipment.
• Inspect dies/calibrators for wear or damage and report to Design Engineers.
• Keep Tool Room organized and equipment properly stored.
• Test and repair heaters, heater cords, and thermocouples.
• Maintain inventory levels of heaters, cords, thermocouples, and extrusion supplies.
• Assist with line setup and teardown as required.
• Support production activities including cutting, punching, packing, and inspecting parts.
• Assist with R&D functions and material grinding as needed.
• Pickup and deliver supplies/parts from suppliers or customers.
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE usage; maintain quality compliance.
• Other duties as assigned.
