Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in a tool room or machining environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of various machining processes, tooling, and metrology equipment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train tool room personnel on safety procedures and equipment operation.
• Oversee the scheduling and execution of preventative maintenance for tools and machinery.
• Manage inventory of tools, spare parts, and consumables, initiating procurement as needed.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are calibrated and maintained to meet quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to tool performance and equipment malfunction.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and best practices within the tool room.
• Collaborate with production and engineering departments to support manufacturing needs.
