Job summary

The Pivot Group Network is partnering with Grandville-based manufacturers to fill a Tool Room Supervisor role. The position oversees daily tool room operations, ensures tool maintenance and calibration, and drives preventive maintenance schedules.

You will mentor technicians, manage inventory, and collaborate with production to optimize tooling performance. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in tool rooms with leadership, strong drawing interpretation skills, and a track record of safety compliance

Qualifications

5+ years in a tool room with progressive leadership responsibilities.
Ability to read drawings, blueprints, and CAD models for tooling.
Knowledge of machining processes and tooling maintenance.
Experience implementing preventative maintenance schedules.
Proven mentoring and team leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the tool room, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
Manage the maintenance, repair, and calibration of all tools and equipment.
Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for tooling.
Train and mentor tool room technicians on proper procedures and safety protocols.
Maintain accurate inventory of tools, spare parts, and consumables.
Collaborate with production and engineering to optimize tool performance and design.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the tool room.
