Job summary

Randstad is seeking an experienced Tool Room Machinist in Carol Stream, IL. You will machine and build fixtures, set up CNCs with Mastercam, repair tools, and ensure smooth production flow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role involves reading blueprints, ordering tools and materials, and maintaining tools to support production. Wear safety gear, and participate in company-wide safety and training programs.

Qualifications

5- to 15-year track record in machining, tool repair, and CNC operation.
Experience with Fanuc and Mazak lathe/mill controls is a plus.
Proficient with lathe, Bridgeport mill, drill presses, grinders, hardness testers; able to read blueprints.

Responsibilities

Machine and build fixtures and devices for product finishing and machining operations.
Set up and operate CNCs and machining centers via Mastercam.
Build forming and sizing dies for elbow-cap-reducer forming.
Repair and maintain tools to ensure continuous production.
Monitor production flow and address issues on the shop floor.
