The Tool Repair Estimatorprovides administrative services by creating and coordinating the estimates for tooling repairs and assists customers with facilitating the processing of their tools being repaired.

  • Reviewing incoming tool repair requests and preparing repair estimates for customer approval.
  • Contact customers by phone or email to discuss repair costs and obtain authorization to proceed with repairs.
  • Entering and maintaining repair orders, estimates, and customer information in SAP and Salesforce.
  • Assisting in prioritizing repair work for the Tool Repair Technicians based on customer needs, turnaround expectations, and workload.
  • Tracking the status of tools through the repair process and providing updates to customers as needed.
  • Coordinating with team members to ensure repair orders processed accurately and efficiently.
  • Assisting with shipping and receiving documentation to support the movement of tools.
  • Responding to customer questions regarding repair status, pricing and expected completion dates.
  • Maintaining organized records and ensuring all paperwork completed accurately and on time.
  • Supporting a safe, productive, team-oriented work environment while helping deliver excellent customer service.
