Responsibilities

• Assist customers and callers in finding the right equipment for their needs and ensure they have what they need to complete their project.
• Provide a helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly experience for every customer, every time.
• Serve customers in departments or storewide and greet customers promptly.
• Maintain the rental department, keeping it clean, organized, and stocked.
• Execute daily operations with urgency and attention to detail.
• Work well as part of a retail team and share ideas for improvement.
• Monitor for shoplifting and act per policy while delivering excellent service.
• Demonstrate sales processes and participate in in-store communications.
• Assist customers with complaints and involve management as needed.
• Follow the Five Foot Rule in greeting and acknowledging customers.
• Be polite, make eye contact, and engage with customers.
• Promote Ace Rewards and the Ace Helpful Promise, using the Magic Question.
• Stay aware of promotions and special sales and inform customers.
• Carry a radio for effective communication with colleagues and management.
• Assist customers with large or heavy items as needed.
