Job summary

TRIDENT TOOL & MOLD in Tucson, Arizona is seeking a skilled Tool Maker / Machinist with over 5 years experience. Candidates must operate various machines including mills and lathes, and perform tasks from blueprints and sketches. This full-time position includes medical benefits, holiday pay, and a competitive compensation based on experience.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently and pass a skills assessment prior to hiring.

Qualifications

• Must be a Tool Maker with 5 or more years of experience.
• Able to operate mills, lathes, surface grinders & EDM machines.
• Ability to pass a verbal and hands-on test before being hired.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly and disassembly of fixtures, dies, templates, molds, etc.
• Work from blueprints, sketches, verbal and written instructions.
• Fabricate parts from start to finish using a variety of machines.

Skills

5 years recent experience in Tool and Die & Machining

Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing

Ability to work from blueprints

Ability to set up and operate conventional Toolroom machines

Ability to perform work with minimal supervision

Future Opening: Tool Makers / Machinist / CNC Setup

Must Be A Tool Maker With 5 Or More Years Experience And Have Own Tools, Able To Operate Mills, Lathes, Surface Grinders & EDM Machines. Performs assembly and disassembly of fixtures, dies, templates, molds, etc. Works from blueprints, sketches, verbal and written instructions. Fabricates parts from start to finish using a variety of machines. Verifies quality of work to specifications using standard inspection equipment.
