Job summary

BVSPC Manufacturing seeks an experienced Tool Maker to inspect and adjust tooling and processes to ensure high quality and steady production. You will read and verify tooling blueprints, operate multiple precision machines, and work with close tolerances using calipers, micrometers, and other gauges.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and at least 10 years in tool & die or machining roles, with proficiency in reading blueprints and measuring with metric units.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 10+ years of Tool & Die / Machinist experience is required.
• Experience with close tolerances, machining, grinding, jig boring, lathe turning and milling machines is required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, measure, troubleshoot and adjust/modify processes (machinery and tooling) to maintain quality and production standards.
• Verify and confirm tooling blueprints.

TOOL MAKING:

INSPECT,MEASURE, TROUBLESHOOT ADJUST/MODIFY PROCESSES (MACHINERY AND TOOLING) TO MAINTAIN QUALITY AND PRODUCTION STANDARDS.

VERIFY AND CONFIRM TOOLING BLUE PRINTS

EDUCATION:

HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GED

10 YEARS OF TOOL & DIE/ MACHINIST EXPERIENCE

EXPERIENCED WORKNG WITH CLOSE TOLERANCES,MACHINING,GRINDING,JIG BORING, LATHE TURNING , MILLING MACHINES

SKILLS

GOOD WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF CALIPER S,MICROMETERS, AS WELL AS OTHER MEASURING DEVICES

ABLE TO READ BLUEPRINTS AND WORK IN ENGLISH AND METRIC UNITS

ABLE TO OPERATE LATHES,MILLS,VERTICAL /HORIZONTAL SAWS,SURFACE GRINDERS,DRILL PRESSES ALL TO CLOSE TOLERANCES

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

ABLE TO LFT UP TO 50LBS SOMETIMES

ABLE TO STAND ,BEND, REACH AND STOOP
